You can fast until you have 2-3 pounds of fat on your body, at which point your body then begins feeding on the organs it has been protecting all this time. If I were you I would just go on a fast and see how it goes.......when you start to feel anything resembling a hungry lion in your tummy, begin coming off of it very very slowly, but do begin right away......... Please Please Please remember that coming off the fast will be awakening a sleeping giant (your appetite), and if you do it properly (sooo slowwwwly - and expecially on raw foods), your health will be fabulous. Also you will be weak for weeks - it will take months to get back where you were. Prepare to sleep alot and meditate, working while doing a Water Fast will leave your skin saggy and haggard looking - you HAVE to rest (no tv, just mental, emotional and physical rest). It is wonderful, so positive, just you and your body doing something special together. Like i said, the end of the honeymoon is when you are trying to get off the fast.
