Great post.
I somewhat alluded to the above points, but only and simply wanting to point out that there was a huge difference between him and Barefoot, certainly in terms of their 'operating' philosophy, and a few somewhat disagreed.

I agree strongly with your points. As one of the early authors in the internet modern raw food industry, he was great, but he definitely is more about the marketing. When it comes to the raw food diet, it should be pretty simple, and done right, there's not that much to it. And there are many versions of this. Some with "direct marketing" companies, others with elaborate membership sites. Others, like Barefoot, or Doug Graham, and a few others, are the real deal. Doing business, yes, but without the huckster/hype thing going on.

This is why MH pulled out of the "radioman" program. It was nothing at all against the host, who is a great guy, and great at what he does, but didn't want to be lumped in with most who have been on the show.
