I have read that eating refined Sugar (of any kind) shuts the immune system down for a period of time. partially or completly until the refined Sugar has pasted from the body. It is said that the 'warrior' cells can be seen on a microscope sitting and shivering, unable to do thier job of doing away with invaders... Do you agree?
I haven't eaten any refined Sugar for over 5 years, and I haven't had so much as a cold or the flu. I eat organic evarpoated juice, rice bran and stevia. I'm aware of agave, but don't have experience with it. Do you reccomend these sweetners?
After reading The pH Miracle, just for the sake of doing it, I took a 2 month break from fruit except for tomato and avacados, and ate only vegetables. (And, of course, other healthy stuff)
