if you are not hungary, don't eat. Fasting is great at times to clean you out. I juice fast twice a year... read about it - it does terrific things for the body.
To aid digestion, you can add the spice or grate fresh ginger to some of your food... lemon juice also helps digestion. Bromelain is good for digestion. Food enzymes are good. Eating anything raw at the start of a meal - like a raw salad - gets live enzymes in the stomach to help digest the food.
Do not drink liquid when eating - it dilutes the digestive juices. If you must drink something sip a little water with lemon in it. Other than that drink 1/2 hour before eating or 1/2 hour after. Remember digestion starts with chewing - chew your food slowly. Aside from helping your digestion, you will save a ton of money by not drinking liquids with your meals.
