Re: Cod liver oil and dogs

I have an idea on how you may be able to get your animals to eat the raw food. If you can find it, Nature's Variety has raw, frozen food. It has meat, fruit, and vegetables. I've still seen some dogs and cats turn their noses up at it, but it seems like most love it.

My dog made a strange face the first time she tried it but then hesitantly ate it. The rest is history. Before that, it was very difficult to get her to eat ANYTHING, let alone raw food. Now she is quite the pig.

My dog did not like the lamb. If your guy doesn't have many teeth, I would recommend the chicken. It is mushier than the beef. The beef is kind of more solid. Not sure how else to describe it, but the chicken is much softer. I also liked the chicken because it is easier to mix in supplements.
