Re: New diagnosis- restless vagina syndrome... !!

I read this article a while ago and
while I was offended by the idea that
my vagina could get restless on me, I
also knew that I sure would not take
a pill to indulge it. I also wondered
if the market for this pill existed
because the same women are taking other
pharmaceuticals and have found themselves
with NO libido. Those of us who have a
natural, normal libido are the lucky
ones since men and women alike are
impacted dramatically by some forms
of medication. Its a slippery slope
when you begin to collect brown bottles.
Sometimes it is necessary but so often
people seem to abdicate their trust
and power to doctors to keep their
health in optimal condition and yet
if they were to take hold of the reins
themselves, they might find that they
can be the best judge of what they
need. Too many however fall victim to
the cultural onslaught of media projections
of what sexuality is and can be and
many doctors are more than willing to
be drug dealers.

I also am past the half century mark and
have been blessed with a healthy libido.
I have also been blessed with healthy role
models~~elders who have admonished me along
the way to "use it or lose it". Still, even
with the best of optimism, after the first
hour, I am ready to go to sleep. :p

It is an important issue however and I
would hope that young people will not buy
into the idea that the ups and downs of
one's libido is not normal and that amping
it up would be the best choice. I would
imagine it would blow out your adrenals
eventually if you rutted like a rabbit
night after night.

I have not heard or read of anyone who
has had anything implanted into their spine
to stimulate an orgasm but that really did
sound drastic and potentially dangerous.
I suppose these new options are this
generations version of spanish fly or a
romantic oyster dinner. Wine and a bar of
chocolate still work for
