Re: MMS2 generates chlorine (edited)

Hello Slavek,

While you may theoretically consider my argument unfair, I can assure you that it is not.

After seeing the damage done by handling calcium hypochlorite I would not ever consider ingesting it. Many people have suffered chemical burns on their body using this chemical, and I don't think the GI tract is that much tougher than the skin. Please note that in most of these cases small amounts of this chemical resulted in the damage to the skin.

I have tried to duplicate Jim Humbles results. I have not been able to verify them. He states that his doses have 1 PPM free chlorine dioxide in them. I end up with much more than that. He relates the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol to water purification, yet water purification utilizes 4 PPM free chlorine dioxide to purify water, and the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement doses are much higher than that. He is advocating doses that are much higher and approach the concentrations needed to invoke chlorine dioxide poisoning.

Many people have tried using Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for cancer, and it has not been effective. The Overnight Cancer Cure people have tried MMS, and MMS + DMSO, and neither combination has proven to be effective.

Chlorine dioxide solution are effective topically and as a mouthwash. Internally, unactivated sodium chlorite solutions seem to be more effective than the MMS protocol. At the 1 PPM concentration, the activated sodium chlorite solution has some merit, but the benefit of higher doses is questionable.

You may find the $25 for a bottle of MMS a good deal, but if you apply a 100% mark up to the cost of the materials (including the bottle, cap, and chemicals) a fair price would be $3. On top of that, the 28% concentration is dangerous to handle. It would be much better if it were offered in a 5% concentration. You can do everything with a 5% concentration that you can do with the 28% solution just by adjusting the amounts used, and the 5% concentration is much safer to handle.

I am glad that you have been able to figure out ways to use this solution topically, and as a mouthwash. The goal of all is to achieve better health. It is just that I haven't seen enough good results to indicate that MMS, or MMS2 is worth the risks involved in ingesting it.
