I got mine from my doctor last batch was in 2005. Label is for methylcobalamin injection (10,000mcg/ml) 30ml vial from McGuff Compounding Pharmacy. It was about $10 a bottle more than hydroxycobalamin but I could use half as much (making it last twice as long) I injected daily 5000mcg of the methylcobalamin. This was way back in 2005 but it seems like a 30ml bottle was $30-60 (can't remember) I tried to get it from a local compounding pharmacy and I think they wanted over $200 for an equivalent amount.
I was out of either once upon a time and tried cyanocobalamin, it was only 1000mcg/ml and had no benefit. I was always concerned with the cyanide aspect of cyanocobalamin. So only tried this once.
