Thanks for pointing the D out to me, but I have been aware of its benefits for a bit.
I have been taking 5000IU of D3 for the past three and a half months among other supplements. Blood tests non withstanding, this is 2.5 times the maximum recommended daily dose. If I ever had D deficiency, which I doubt, because I am not shy of sun without any sunscreen poisons on me and have never been and I have also been supplementing with welding UV on top of sun exposure, I am quite positive that I have more D now than I need.
The only thing D may be doing for me is that when I try to supplement with calcium in conjunction with magnesium, I start getting cramps in my muscles. So I avoid calcium for the time being except for what comes in the food.
