Re: Triglycerides & Cholesterol - I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
Holy Smokes! TGs @ 5800 + 5 stents...you're so young too. It sounds like you might have real "structural" issues. I've never heard of TG levels that high; even in the medical articles I've read, they rarely talk about TGs over 2000. Have your had any other symptoms related to your TGs, like eye problems, pancreatitis or skin outbreaks?
Please understand, I am not a doctor or naturopath, and I am NOT qualified to render a medical opinion as to your condition. All I can do is relate my single Flush experience. I stopped taking my TG medicine for two reasons; 1) I wanted to see how well the flush worked and 2) the meds weren't working. Also, I wasn't entirely confident that my doctors were all that interested in getting to the root of the lipid problem, and the fact that the meds could potentially harm your liver was a real turn off.
As you can see in my other posts (even in this thread), I did the Clarke protocol, without the morning
Epsom Salts . If I do another flush, I probably won't use the
Epsom Salts again.
I am sure you've done plenty of your own research, and made lots of life style changes. I think it might do you good to see a nutritionist. I don't think eliminating all carbs is a good thing; it's more a matter of cutting out refined
Sugar and flour, and getting the really good ones in your diet, like carbs from fruits and vegetables, beans, oatmeal and brown rice. I think adding these things to my diet has been a real help. You also might want to try apple cider vinegar and lecithin; the thing is, your on three meds right now, so I'm not sure if supplements would be safe.
Please feel free to peruse my posts, but given your unique condition and circumstances, you'd be better served by talking to the GURUS hear - Shelley, Spirit, Andreas, etc. I wish you the best of luck and keep everyone here apprised of your progress.
