I have not ran across the book or Thomas or Mary, and I have very limited knowledge about the dead sea scrolls.

I was not raised in a christian faith. Now some who still believe the teachings of the church I was raised in would argue that, because the church I grew up in did claim chrisitanity, but their teachings did not match up to the bible. Pretty much my whole family, immediate and extended family, divided over this religion I grew up in. My parents divorced over it, etc. We were very involved. I was born in this church, and stayed until I was eighteen. I began to do my own seeking and searching after that apart from my parents, and so came to believe what I do now. Tweet
