I visited a holistic MD. She tested my Iodine levels via a blood lab. It tested as 429.7 ng/mL with "normal" ranges indicated as 44.0 - 94.0. I understand the lab's "normal" ranges are not optimal according to more progressive thought about iodine, but I wonder if anyone knows of an optimal blood/serum level?
I've been taking Iodine in some shape or form since July.
Also, the MD recommended I do Iodine enemas. Anyone try them? I haven't charted enema territory yet :-) According to the instruction sheet the doctor gave me: "expect mucus, gel, trash, undigested food and several movements within hours of the iodine enema as mucus keeps coming out." I can add the instructions here if anyone is interested.
