The reason that diet might have had different results for you is perhaps because many people have different strains of candida or perhaps even different types of fungus. It would probably not be a stretch to say there is a chance many people on here have SIBO and not a fungal infection. That's why I think it's important to get a thorough analysis of the stool from perhaps a lab with mycotic and histological specialization.
Right now I am looking for a place that would do that for me. I don't have much faith in local doctors, I have seen too much incompetence, I am thinking of traveling to a major mycotic research facility that does lab tests or to a university mycotic department lab that does lab tests like this.
