I am new to this too- but one thing I have found is that the Iodine doesn't work for me without enough magnesium and I need lots of it. I take almost 1,000 mgs a day-in many different forms (magnesium taurate, magnesium glycinate, citrate, malate and Epsom Salts baths). I have found the malate form to probably be the most effective and take it with every meal. Pulse dosing has also been enormously helpful too. What works for me is 100 mg two days on one day off.
