unconfusion enclosed...Re: confused and wondering...can someone help please?

WOW! great info Uny..didnt mean to get anything fluffed up on here but was just interested :)  No "fluffed up" here :::grin::: I'm glad for the opportunity to share a bit of truth.

maybe someone can shed some light my confusion for me  you betcha :)

I fortunately have mixed up emotions on natural caffeine myself.. if God put it here it must be good for something right? Please help me understand cause I am very confused..:(
Yes, I too believe if God/Nature created a plant, then it has a purpose...even the plants that are deadly poison if we ingest them have some kind of purpose.  But their purpose is definitely NOT for eating! (of course, lol).

Guess where on the earth God put all of the "caffeine & stimulant plants"  (coffee, tea, kola, yerba mate, coca-aine).  North America? Europe? Nope - the countries on or near the equator.  Why?  Well it seems pretty obvious that folks working in the fields in 110 degree weather for 10-12 hours at a time would have a true need/reason for chewing a coca-leaf or having some form of natural stimulant.  OR perhaps God put them on the planet for a reason other than for human to eat/ingest.

I know that if I didnt drink caffeine to get me going then I would literally lie on the couch and nothing would get done at all.  Then you're addicted to caffeine and/or your body is malnourished and/or not able to assimilate & process the nutrition you are getting into the energy you need.  Guess what organ is basically responsible for that?  Yep, your liver.   I mean when the laundry piles up and supper has to made and a million other things sometimes it is a necessity for me.  Yep, when an addictive substance is necessary to function "normally", then we all can assume we're addicted....and compromised.

I know I have got to get healthy this year and lose this weight too that is draggin me down..and exercise but I have got to feel like getting off my butt to do something to begin with before it will get done.. Let's hope this year you "get 'er done" :)  Sometimes we need crutches until we can get back on our feet - try to do your best to choose wisely (and with KNOWLEDGE).
take this morning for instance ..I got up and didnt feel like doing anything ..so later on I gave in and drank a glass of iced coffee and I felt like a million bucks.. went and run errands ,was in high gear and ready to run a marathon if I had too.. that was great energy and I am still going and that was over 6hrs ago.  Substitute the word "cocaine" (or meth or speed) for the 'iced coffee', then reread that and 'hear yourself'.  Yep, it sounds to me like you're addicted to caffeine.  (reminder: I am NOT "judging you", only/hopefully helping you to identify a problem.  As you'll read in the links below, I am FAR too familiar with caffeine addiction :::sigh::: )
personally I think that schulzes formula would have way too much caffeine in it for me cause I do limit myself to one cup of coffee or a glass of tea daily sometimes 2 and sometimes none at all.but I thought tea was good for you? all the tannins and polyphenols in it thats supposed to prevent cancer right??? thought coffee was good for you too with all the antioxidents?? Yerba Mate is also posed to be very good for you (so they say)..having more antioxidents than green tea/black tea and coffee combined?
Check out the links below, and then what I'm about to say will make even MORE sense.  Caffeine (in ANY form) is addictive and causes all the negative responses in the human body that it does.   The leaf of the coca plant also contains all kinds of beneficial things - but that does not mean it's not harmful and it's okay to chew on coca leaves.  If you need a crutch to get over an addiction (or for "energy" - unnatural as it may be- to have the strength to heal yourself), then Yerba Mate would likely be my selected choice.  BUT, one must still be aware that no matter what kind of caffeine one substitutes for another, there's still a period of withdrawal (and with it, all the lack of energy & flatness for weeks/months that is basically inevitable).  There's a section in one of the post below on the 'withdrawal effects' (be sure to check it out) - this is something that everybody has to deal with that has used and become accustomed to stimulant herbs, coffee, or drugs...and it doesn't matter how healthy we are when we withdrawal.  Every action has an equal & opposite reaction - frustratingly, we all have to 'suffer the consequences' of allowing our health to deteriorate and ourselves to become dependent on a stimulant for our energy :(

I know that gingko gives me a headache every single time and I dont know why so schulzes formula is out for me( I made a tea outta the gingko I got from mtn rose)...can anyone else tell me why it does this?  It could be because M/R's gingko is from China (I get mine from Pacific Botanicals to avoid that); it could be because you're still sensitive & reactive because your liver is clogged & compromised (and/or full of critters)
what are some alternative to caffeine for energy when needed in say like my case ? none of which I'm aware - sorry.  The only way through it, is through it...and that means dealing with the withdrawal effects.  Herb & oils that assist 'all things mental' are good helpers; of course, oxygen to the brain (cayenne & exercise) are very beneficial, too.

also I know this is off topic but I have a question about gluten intolerence..'tis basically the same as any other allergy or reaction (with a bit of a digestive 'twist').
I havent been eating any gluten till last night ..had some whole wheat bread and also had some today ..well I noticed the numbness has come back in my left hand .I read somewhere that being gluten sensitive can cause nerve damage? is this true and could all this be related to gluten? Gluten sensitivity is the "symptom", not the cause.  Deal with the cause (weak/compromised digestive tract, foods & substances that compromise your body; clogged liver, etc) and 'health' will remove the symptoms. I have been readin up on it and have some of the sx's Be sure to keep your reading to the authors that have consistently and successfully cured all manner of diseases :) and I absolutely cannot lose any weight while ingesting it instead my belly bloats out and I feel/look like I am 8 months pregnant..LOL I am gonna lay off it for another few days and see what happens Ezekial bread (or any sprouted grain) will be less reactive.  That yer 'belly bloats out' is not the fault of the grain, it the fault of the state of your body.   ..up until then I really havent had any problems worth mentioning with the numbness but this is really getting to my nerve not knowing what is going on and I am looking at all angles here.. the chiro did get me fixed up for a bit and I think he is leaning more towards my neck having a pinched nerve but at this point I really dont know.  It all goes back to the same thing (and always will).  You gotta start taking care of yourself and doing what you know has worked for you in the past.  You can't build health on anything but a solid foundation :)

One or two hours a day for YOU isn't too much time to spend healing and restoring your body, right? right!   You know you'll be spending a LOT more time than that if things get worse, eh?  You already know the drill - but it sure seems you're spending a LOT of time looking for 'other options'...you'll only get the same advise over & over & over again here - because that's what WORKS!

hope ya'll can help me with all this confusion - is that really "confusion", or is that something else (like 'southern stubborn'? or not wanting to go to the trouble? or fear? or thinking you're not worth taking the time & effort?).  Next time you post - give me an example of what your EFT tapping phrases are :::wink::: that you're GOING to be using to help get you 'over the hump' so you CAN be successful this year!

thanks and BIG hugs Big hugs rightbackatch :)

Caffeine posts (your "must read" assignments!)...and be sure to check out the information in the links in all the links, too :)
