Re: thyroid hormones supplement and milk thistle.

I used to have a dog that I gave Thytrophin PMG (bovine thyroid extract -- regulated thyroid much better than Rx drug) for years. Later in her life she had Cushings disease, so I gave her milk thistle to help support her liver. Her thyroid levels remained good throughout the time she took the milk thistle. I don't recall ever coming across anything back then that said not to give both. Tweet
