Hyperthyroid a sign of iodine sufficiency?

This may be wishful thinking on my part but does going hyper signal that one may be Iodine sufficient and time to back down to a maintenance dose? I have been taking 50-100 mgs for 3 1/2 months. For awhile, I was swinging between hypo and hyper but recently I have been feeling mostly hyper for about 3-4 days. It is a different hyper from what I was feeling before which would come and go sometimes within the same day. Thisfeels similar to when I went hyper from too many thyroid meds. I am nervous, have a racing heart and palpitations particuarly at night bad insomnia, at times very hot and sweaty, tired and weak. Is this just a phase to get through or time to reduce dose more permanently?. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around what sufficiency will feel like.
