Re: are multiple food allergies leaky gut symptom
Have you ever tried the Slippery Elm tea? I just had a conversation with David Christopher, son of Dr. John R. Christopher, the herbalist. He said that Slippery Elm tea should clear up the leaky gut issues in about 2 weeks, or at least thats what I understood. He said that that would help keep him from getting more allergies, and then hopefully, eventually (with strict avoidance) the ones he already has. For adults, the tea is Slippery Elm and I think he said Anise or anise seed. He said that most newborns have leaky gut more or less, but it heals if they don't get things that irritate it before that can happen, e.g. immunizations, or foreign proteins. However, candida, can create leaky gut, from what I understand. So, you may be able to heal leaky gut somewhat easily without candida, but you if you don't address the candida, the leaky gut will just keep happening.
I'm still new to leaky gut, and candida, so I'm not sure if I'm correct, that's just what I've gotten from the few posts and studies that I've read. I don't know if I've missed something in my readings
