Confused by epsom salts and water intake...

hello
I am wondering how much water to drink and when during the days of the flush and leading up to the flush. I still drank water after 2pm, but didn't have any roaring diarrhea the next morn, so i was lead to believe that i didn't drink enough water, (as the Epsom Salts draw all the water into the intestines- thus diarrhea/butt pee)-this is what i've been told anyway.
I'm confused, why does Hulda Clark s recipe tell us not to drink any water, when the aim is to have alot of water in your belly for the salts to draw water and to facilitate movement of the stones out of the body? OR, is it best to wake up the next morning, and just chug a large bottle of water to get the process going?
I noticed that not until i started drinking water and tea in the morning, did my first BMs of the morning start for my LF. I know we should drink lots of water every day, and i do, but now i'm just confused. Can anyone settle my confusion?
