Re: Does candida diet lower your sex drive?

Adieu -
if you get the impression that you have burned all the fat and that your metabolism goes to your muscle it could be quite a few things:

Your metabolism will go to your muscle once you are MINERAL deficient - potassium magnesium mostly check it out- just as it will go into the bones for calcium - if you get REALLY mineral deficient you will get cramps.

To supplement with omega (3 6 and 9, we eat a lot of omega 6 normally so we usually insist on the 3 and the 9) will give your body the fat it needs to produce energy- if you do not eat soy product (or dont like them) lecithin along with omegas is helpful for it is essential in order to process the fat.

Albican123 -

If green tea feels ackward, it might be your adrenals (which is common with candida ) listen to your body and switch to herb tea instead
-dandelion/ black radish/artichoke/minth tea and target the liver
-parsley/linden/blackcurrent/green tea to target the kidneys.
-marshmallow root for intestinal pain

Adrenal fatigue (an old post from my blog): //www.curezone.org/blogs/fm.asp?i=976142

I have found rotating between gse and oregano oil (o.o.) to be real great for they do not kill bacteria. Go slowly- listen to your body - Adieu is right it is quite difficuolt to differientiate between flaring up and die off - so change just one thing at a time (ex, do not cheat on the diet when you start a new suppl. to see how you react to it) You do not need to start with the FULL DOSE of the antifungal start halfway and slowly increase once your body has adjusted.

When you purchase o.o. make sure you have the dosage on the bottle. Many brands do not specify it and, since it depends on the concentration of the oil, no one can tell you precisely how much to use -

You are eating plenty of protein which is great - L-Arginine (or other amino acid) is not so important then- real food is always superior to supplements.
