ZeroWater Filtration 000PPM any thoughts?

I bought an 8 stage Crystal Quest filtration system recently that is suppose to remove fluoride (& everything else) - it & my tap water is 200ppm (sigh, why do I feel I've been snookered, even the PUR pitcher is suppose to drop it down to 125ppm) I bought a reconditioned water distiller off ebay & distilled my filtered water & got it down to 4ppm but the CS generator says it needs 1ppm or less. So I will redistill the 4ppm & hope that is enough. (Going to a store to buy distilled water is not an option for me.)

I saw a commercial for a ZeroWater filtration pitcher that claims to filter to 000ppm & comes with a TDS device. Apparently it does do this & the filters need to be changed at 6ppm which apparently don't last long but for CS production, this sure sounds perfect.

I don't know how comfortable I would feel about using this as my only source of filtration & would probably continue to double distill (mainly because the filters are expensive & would only last 25gallons). I would worry that it would leave something or deposit something in the water. Although the filters would probably last for a very long time only filtering 4ppm.

I guess I'm going to have to get this, even after steam distilling twice, it's still at 3ppm.

Any thoughts?
