FAsting (water only) helps me. It is difficult, but I am pursuing it as my real answer to my lifelong and totally debilitating dysbiosis (candida problem). I have always been helped by fasting short fasts and am now learning to do longer fasts (10 days and more). I am starting a fast today. I think my body prefers to heal itself. I have determined, based on my research into fasting, that although I am very thin fasting is still totally appropriate. I think people worry about weight when this is really not a worry -- the internal health of the body needs addressing.
