Re: When to fast again?

that is a very destructive myth. see all literature on fruitarianism. Please - you should not post such simplistic debatable unfounded stuff and intimidate a possibly vulnerable person this way. this is fear-mongering and very destructive. we are basically hearing your food addiction talking. THIS is in fact dangerous to the body and its health -- to cultivate such fear -- to mistrust the body and mistrust other people. you are talking about staying ALIVE? as if this person in a first world country with totally abundant food were in danger? or so un-intuitive that he could hurt himself?? Please!!! so mistrustful, disrespectful, and destructive! you attitude is more dangerous than anything this person could do with diet!! Sorry, I am just so frustrated by hearing this neurotic-fear-of-scarcity-type thinking! (See GAbriel Cousens MD's book "Conscious EAting")-- nutritional deficiencies this nutritional deficiencies that! even MDs nowadays acknowledge the great danger to be OVERnutrition poisoning! fruit provides perfectly adequate protein etc. but this is BESIDE the point! such fearfulness is so toxic - way more than any supposed deficiency in diet (again, no real deficiency but really a false sense of alarm generated by food addiction!) I don't mean to snap but something needs to be said for REALLY relaxing about "deficiencies!" Especially in a context of supporting fasting, we need REALLY to be free of these fears, which can actually provoke dangerous over-eating!! thanks for hearing me.
