I've had good results with adding kelp and coral calcium to my supplements, and keeping my diet 90% raw. During the day I drink the lemon juice/cayenne/maple syrup drink from the Master Cleanse. In the afternoon I eat raw fruits and veggies if I get hungry to the point of weakness. At night I have cooked veggies or fish. My energy level has improved a lot eating this way.
I am 53 and I know what you mean about extra weight! I don't have a lot of it, but wow, it sure is hard to lose. I'm hoping this regime will help.
There is a lot of great information in the various forums on this site; I've found a lot of help here. I've come to believe that we are all different and what works for one person may not be right for another. Nevertheless, we can all benefit from the cleanses, and from eliminating processed, junk "food" from our diets!
