Blowing into the breeze, but will give it a shot anyway

I would disagree with your position. Slavery is a natural outgrowth of uncontrolled capitalism - the best employee to do manual chores is one which you do not have to pay, and any employer would honestly jump at the chance to not have to pay wages to their workforce. Free markets do not concern themselves with moral issues so slavery, torture, murder and other human rights abuses are acceptable business practices provided that the action leads to sufficient profit.

Following on from that, even better than having a poorly paid workforce in a foreign country is to have a poorly paid workforce in the country where your goods are sold. That way you get to cut costs further by not having to pay for transport. Big business loves having millions of illegals around since they artificially lower labor cost. It's a simple case of privitising the profits while socialising the costs - the extra burden on public services is picked up once again by the ever suffering taxpayer. It is also an acceptable tactic to push for ever-increasing numbers of foreign visa workers even though there are millions ready to do those jobs at home.

Big business imports all the foreign people it can so it can pay them less, clear and simple. This is far more likely to lead to multiculturalism and divisiveness rather than proclaiming that some vaguely defined "socialism" is to blame for all of society's problems.
