LOL -- I know the feeling about the $15! Trapper had a great idea about using syringes to measure SSKI. When you know the solution is 1 gram KI/ml distilled sater, and you take 1 ml as measured in a syringe, then you know you're getting a gram. Hubby had some insulin syringes hanging around for injecting oil into tight spaces, and he started using a clean one for his SSKI. That way, even 400 mg is pretty sure, with 0.4 ml measured out.
