I've had good success converting people to Iodine supplementation via giving them a copy of Dr Brownstein's Iodine dvd/lecture. It is really a convincing presentation(it is what first converted me), and plus he is a MD so that is able to touch the appeals from authority only crowd. Of course the problem still is about half the friends and family I've given it to never get around to watching it, but those that do are all converts so far. Trying to convince them on your own is a losing proposition, in today's Brave New World, most people are very much conditioned to only listen to their "experts" on all these matters. At first I lent out the original DVD but 6 months later it was never watched and I was without my DVD, so now I burn it at about a quarter a dvd it isn't a big deal if i give it to a friend and they never watch it.
