Absorption of transdermal iodine

This link is probably one some of you have seen. I found it when looking for information about the absorption of transdermal iodine.

It's very tempting to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. This week I may see what happens if I take all my Iodine transdermally.

"One can conclude that skin application of Iodine is an effective if not efficient and practical way for supplementation of Iodine with an expected bioavailability of 6 to 12% of the total iodine applied to the skin."
