I would think that liver congestion is not necessarily always related to a full-of-stones gallbladder causing a backup of bile into the liver, i.e., liver congestion. You have to deal with liver congestion (stagnation) in addition to de-stoning with a gallbladder flush, as if it might be something rather separate. This is why we are advised to take herbs for the liver, for example. Or large quantities of apple juice with no food, which would cause stagnant bile to be ejected. Once the liver is decongested, flushes would become so much easier.
