If you take it on a regular basis, the prickly flushing feeling really tapers off. I take it before bed as I've read that it helps sleep. When you first start your skin will be hot and kind of itchy but I think that's a good thing. And anything that raises my body temp is ok by me.

I would imagine it's great for the skin, bringing the blood supply closer, like exercise and heat does.

I don't know if it's helped my cholesterol or not as I am one of those people Kaiser has to call and beg and plead to come in for an annual checkup. Finally got them to give up on the mammogram phone calls, though. Have to say they were pretty cool about it.
