Re: Will too much glutamine feed candida?

Glutamine hasn't been a problem for me. But, what has been a problem for me in the past was reducing my diet to only veggies and water - got a HUGE flare. If this happens to you, you can try adding in some protein - that is what stopped it in me. I know lots of folks go on these drastic cleanses, but I think that may do more harm than good. I could be wrong, but I cannot recall anyone who improved by doing them, and many who ended up worse, so I'd really give that some thought. There is a school of thought that when you deprive candida of all carbs, it will morph from the yeast to the (worse) fungal form and go deeper into you looking for food. True? I have no idea, but it does fit with my experience.
