I'm so sorry that you're another victim! I had mine placed in fall 2007. I had mine out November 2009 when my health fell apart. I was tested for lupus and MS (tests were normal). I still have many of the same symptoms.

I am interested in your comment about hyperparathyroidism. Can you tell me more about the symptoms of that? I wonder because I seem to have issues with magnesium/calcium balance, and I understand that hyperparathyroidism can cause this. I was researching it just last week. My thyroid tests were always normal though. How did you test you for these things?
