Re: Dietary antioxidant supplement may boost melanoma risk in women???

Maybe a wild card; but the selenium without Iodine in WOMEN could cause a tendency towards hypo T = more prone to cancer. (the men in the study did not have an increase in melanoma, and women are more vulnerable for hypo T as their breasts sucks in some of the Iodine in the food= less left for the thyroid)
I would like to see the outcome if Iodine was added !

In France (the place of the study), and also the neighbour inland countries there is a widespread low grade iodine deficiency.

BTW; studies like this often are funded by the big pharma; and positive outcomes from the study might be left out.
