Re: Help! Terrible 4 month crash

I take fish oil with no noticeable difference in my anxiety. I am in my 5th month post right now, and month 4, especially the beginning, was rough. It's a little better now, although today my anxiety is a little higher than usual. I have found it helpful to keep a brief diary, where I note how I slept, how my anxiety level is, what I ate, and any other odd symptoms. I am dealing with multiple issues myself (thyroid, oxalate toxicity & post-mirena) right now, so it's a real pain to try to figure out what's causing what.

That said, YES, I can commiserate with your nervous energy issue. I have always just chalked it up to anxiety, albeit a different form of it. On days when I have the nervous energy problem, I try to channel it into productive behaviors (cooking, researching, cleaning...whatever I feel up to), and if I do enough, I will eventually exhaust myself and be able to lay down and relax. Being exhausted isn't the best feeling, but if you can burn the nervous energy off, it sure feels a heckuva lot better than the constant anxiousness.
