Oh, yes...


...I have recently given up all man-added sugar, and most naturally-occurring...and all bread, pasta, flour, and such.

It's easy.

Heck, if I can give up fifty years of smoking...I can do anything!


All I did was go to the SCD forum; click on 'Books' (for the plan); and scratch off the things I tested 'sensitive' to a number of years ago.

I took a scrap of paper and listed all the things I COULD have, emphasizing the more solid foods, and imagining meals built around them.

I also found that I don't tend to overeat...a small scoop of cooked black beans (or whole dried peas), with a few things I find tasty, is satisfying.

It helps to cook up 1/2 or a cup of each, beforehand. (Boil five minutes in some water, then discard that water and add four or five cups of fresh. Set the timer and cook on low for at least two hours...better three, with some more water.)

I'll make some coconut oil mayo each week, too.


No white potatoes, tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplant, and tobacco (plants of the nightshade family)...anything sqeezed from a cow (except certain hard cheeses), bananas, broccoli (can you believe that?), etc. ...No more indigestion...and maybe less candida!!!
