Many iodiners have experienced coldness and hairloss in the beginning; this will pass. I would up my selenium for a while; I advice 100 mcg selenium per 10 mg of iodine; with a limit on 800 mcg (short time; weeks, months) on my cases.
I would also add zinc, and possibly copper, more magnesium as supplement (when I was a vegetarian with 10 servings of greens a day I still had a deficiency of magnesium)
Iodine seems to highlight other deficiencies when taken in high dosages, in addition to the detox.
I have stopped hairloss completely on myself + a few others
with Iodine & co; even one woman in her late 50`s have hair growing back where it hasnt been any the last 5 years.
But; there was a phase where it was falling off more than ever, yes.
