Getting a bit panicky about auto-immune hypothyroidism

I am a 27 yr old male just to make things clear.

Ever since I found out about adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism occuring side by side I have been researching the subject in depth (having some trouble due to brain fog) and seeking answers on this great message board.

One of my biggest fears is having antibodies detected in my thyroid blood test next week because as far as I know it means I will be hypothyroid for the rest of my life and on medication forever too.

Is that correct?

I'm really hoping it turns out to be secondary hypothyroidism caused by low adrenal function as I have read that can be corrected.

So, for there to be NO auto-immune thyroid disease do the test results need to basically state 0 for the antibodies or do they just need to be in a certain range?

Please clarify the auto-immunity aspect of hypothyroidism for me.
