No it doesn't feed candida. It is produced by bacteria that ferment the apples whereby most of the Sugar would be metabolised by the bacteria. The acetic acid kills candida and will in fact strip a candida biofilm. Make sure you take an organic unfiltered one with the original "mother" still present.
The thing to be cautious about with ACV is your teeth. If you don't rinse your mouth afterwards the acid will gradually strip the enamel from your teeth in much the same way that coca cola will.
If I were you though I'd start taking organic coconut oil by Jarrow formulas (green label). Start out at about 1 tablespoon per day and build up to about 6 per day - 3 x 2 tablespoons. The capric, caprylic and lauric acid are able to strip the biofilm also and seem to work throughout the entire intestine.
You should also take a probiotic yeast (it's not related to candida in any way) which is antagonistic to candida called Saccharomyces boulardii. Studies have shown that it produces fatty acids, some of which are found in coconut oil, that inhibit candida biofilms. A decent one that is well priced is done by Jarrow Formulas also.
In my opinion stripping the biofilm is the only way to get rid of candida. I've been making really good progress by taking this approach.
