Most people feel worse when eating sulfur foods. Sulfury foods don't chelate mercury. Extracellular mercury will eventually come out but intracellular mercury is there for good unless you use ALA.

If sulfury foods don't help remove mercury and also make people worse, why would they eat them?

Keep in mind some people are low in sulfur and are fine with sulfury foods. Most are high in sulfur though.
