Parasites on dog AND me!

I am reposting this on the parasite drug forum in hopes that someone can give me a clue as to what we have going on here. I've included pictures. We became aware of some nit-like things last summer in hair. We thought, "Yikes,lice!" and treated as such. The dog at the same time was having issues with hair loss, itching, rubbing face and nose. Finally, after too many lice treatments, began to suspect the dog might be involved. I've included pictures of the dog's hair under microscope and the nit-like things.
Also, I have found things come off my scalp and out of my nose. When I drink cayenne pepper in water, I seem to have more from my nose. Also, since using cayenne, I coughed up what looks like a small tape worm. I haven't included the picture.
Other symptoms are not too specific. I have occasional, but not severe pain on right side abdomen. I have a bump, cyst?, on my upper arm that has been aching lately and always needing to clear my throat or sinuses. And, I do have some itching, though not severe, on scalp and sometimes elsewhere.
Anybody know what these are? I see similar pics posted by others. Surely someone can identify.
