Hey MrBBQ,

I agree with healthyartist' and think that St. Johns Wort (SJW) would be a good start. I've used the stuff for years, it is incredible, though it does take a few weeks to kick in.

On the plus side though, you won't have the crazy side-effects of an SSRI (no dry mouth....etc....) and I believe that SJW also helps to lower cortisol.

I had an amazing change with this herb, and know many others that have as well. There is even a huge forum for SJW.
