Some acceptance is needed. If you worry too much about your symptoms, the worry itself will make you worse.
Not to say you shouldn't try to get better, but do it gently, slowly and don't put pressure on yourself.
I've already accepted that I have probably knocked 15-20 years off my life with this illness.....oh well, nobody lives forever.
Buddhists monks frequently contemplate their mortality. Learning not to cling to the way things were is why they are some of the happiest people on earth.
In the west, this is seen as being negative and not having the "go getter" attitude.....but it is exactly this go getter attitude that is partially to blame for adrenal fatigue.
