This makes perfect sense - thank you. Yes, maybe I was a bit harsh on the thinking of my dentist. I remember well, very well, in fact - that I felt a type of euphoria after each of my 4 or 5 visits of Amalgam removal. They did keep the water flowing and the suction hose right-there-on-the-spot the whole time they were working.
It is probably the effects of my body's REbalancing that I'm suffering from - I've had the Amalgams since I was a very small child.
My mistrust of dentists IS understandable, though. We had an unscrupulous dentist the whole time I was growing up; it was proven with my parents' fifth child.
Dr Blake said my youngest brother had many cavities and needed many fillings. This time Mom was wary, and had him visit another dentist for a 2nd opinion. My brother had NO cavities, and the dentist was even willing to go to court as a witness against the first dentist. ouch.
