Just started Iodoral

Hi, I think I read this somewhere but not sure. My TSH levels came back high and I heard that the levels can spike when you start taking higher amounts of iodine. My normal average range has always been around 1.40 but now it is around 4.0. I also am borderline anemic. Can this be related, and do the TSH levels really typically jump when first starting iodine? I started taking higher doses about 2 weeks ago. I asked my doctor and she said the levels should drop if you're taking iodine, but I have seen some posts on this forum that they can temporarily spike?
