Re: Preventative Lung Treatment

My husband works as a mechanic at a dealership and I'm concerned about the fumes and chemicals he breathes all day long and the potential for lung cancer. Is there anything he can take to avoid this? He currently takes your multi-herb and zinc w/copper.

I would focus primarily on the liver since the liver is going to be the primary detoxifying organ for these chemicals.   Bitters are the best way to cleanse the liver provided he still has a gallbladder.  He should also drink a lot of water throughout the day when using them.  Some of the best liver supporting herbs include turmeric, milk thistle seed, schisandra berry and artichoke leaf.

I would also recommend dulse, which not only binds and removes heavy metals, but it is also immune stimulatory and anti-cancer.

Phytic acid (inositol hexaphosphate, IP6) has the same properties and is found in seeds such as soy, oats, rice, etc.
