Re: Supplements WAY over rated?
Hummmm....maybe. There is a time and a place for everything, so the song goes. A time for certain suppliments and not. I feel more comfortable with moderation in everything and well balanced. But, when one is sick ( I usually ) will take extra C, Zinc, garlic and Olive leaf extract and my cold clears up in less than a week. Maybe, if one is taking certain suppl. as all of on for AF here on Curezone, it's good to take a holiday from them for a few days or even a week. I also alternate brands, mainly so my body won't develope a tolerance to them, as is so common taking anything long term.
I recently ordered a well rounded whole food "multi-vitamin", so I won't have to be taking so many individual ones. Than I will add some B-5, C, Cod liver oil on alternating days. I always take 2 days off a week to do nothing, just rest, physically, mentally and from all suppliments. Just my personal regime.
PS. Had another unavoidable crash, adding to the Perils of Pauline, of course. Did not sleep well last night first of all. Upon waking, I heard noises of some small animal in the water heater closet (within our small apartment) I hesitantly opened the door and a bird flew out. My adrenaline begain pumping and I almost peed right there and ran into the bedroom and told my husband. He got the bird out of the apartment and we had maintainence come over right away to seal openings in the wall.
Even that minor incident caused me anxiety all day and made me sick.
