I took capsules that I bought at Whole Foods. The brand might have been Nature's Way. One bit of advice that I followed was that the urine needs to be alkaline for the uva ursi to work:

I also have experience at recovering from candida. From what I can tell, before probiotics can take over and keep things under control the fungal stuff needs to be seriously beaten back (antifungals, cleansing, no sugar, no flour, etc). Those things aren't the long term solution but they're needed to get you in a position to change the terrain.

Antibiotic pill b4 and after sex--that's funny! Wommie is right, fire your "doc."
