 Dr. Shultz superfood powder tastes absolutely horrible. I was extremely disapointed because it's so highly nutritious

I would not consider the anatoxins and microcystins in the "blue-green algae" to be nutritious. Dangerous, yes.  Nutritious, no!

This is a great example of why I wish people who design formulas would do their research on the chemistry of these herbs before dumping them in their formulas instead of adding them simply because they read somewhere that they are good for something.

If these formualtors are not going to take the time to do the research then it is up to the consumer to do their own research if they want effectivness and safety in formulations.
