I think Micafungin costs as high as Caspofungin or Anidulafungin. I am not sure if they will solve the problem even when I have said that many times. There are many things involved in it that it turns very difficult. Biofilms, immune system, allergy, flora, etc. There are people that don't have a real overgrowth but they are allergic to yeast. If you are allergy to an organism that lives inside of you, how you will correct it ?? Inflammation, and an allergy response will be in any place you have candida. The only way to stop an allergy is to avoid the allergen, but how we can do that with candida that is part of our mucus membranes, skin, etc ??? You can try other technics to disrupt fungal biofilms and microbial biofilms that may help the antifungals work better. One important product could be Royal Jelly since 2-decenoic acid can disrupt candida albicans biofilm. SF-722 may do the same since they are similar. Anyway, a persistent and non-responsive candida infection is linked to immune suppression that may be caused by the same fungus, another cause, or a combination of causes. Sure, this is very hard to treat and most people like me haven't found the way to win. Diet is very important but I haven't been brave enough to stick with it for long time.
