Re: Day 50. trimming tip to prevent big buildups.

here is a little tip to prevent having layers of EC getting stuck on top of each other.

when the top later started to have loose, detached edges, trim edges with small scissors (eye brow scissors) frequently. always leave a little space, not cutting those bits completely. this cannot be done right after washing EC or when the lip is wet (after shower etc). but it can be done when the skin is completely dry.

its important to leave EC alone by not peeling manually, but when loose edges are left for too long, the next layer gets stuck with the top later, and keep growing, then the next layer, and so on. and they turn into big crusts.

so if the top layer is trimmed frequently, each layer would peel when they need to peel, not at the same time. when they are stuck together and top layers wanting to peel, its likely to peel the new layer prematurely, which is almost same as peeling manually.
